My name is spelled wrong on my study permit and now i cannot get my social insurance number to recieve my stipend. Ive completed and mailed out the form for a correction, im wondering how long does it take? I should be recieving my first payment on september 15th, will it come in by them or am i gonna be broke for a few months? Additionally could i just resubmit the application for a student permit?, it only took a few days to get approved last time…

I know my great grandparents are from nova scotia, i was able to find images of their birth certificates and census records with a free trial of some ancestry site. Is this, plus birth certificates from my grandfather and mother from the US enough to claim citizenship? There seems to be alot of services charging a ton of money to find these things but i have them all so is it possible to fill out the citizenship claim with these things? And any advice on how to do so?

Booked a backpacking trip to croatia and though i would be able to bring my backpack as a carry on but it did not fit. I had to go back and check it in but i completely forgot to take my adderall out, which are in their original bottle with the prescription wrapped around it. Am i going to be fine or will i get questioned/confiscated at customs? Croatia allows a 30 day supply with a prescription all of which i have but the luggage is now checked in and i am boarding my first connection(to another airport in the US) in 10 minutes.

I’m starting graduate school in canada coming from the US and getting canadian citizenship would allow me to apply to alot more scholarships. I want to try applying but my parents have told me theyre not sure if the records of my great grandparents exist anymore as they were in highschool during the halifax explosion of 1917. Do records of the survivors exist anywhere, and has anyone else gone through something similar?
