Got the creator package, no experience in editing and thought: gonna upload al my raw takes, send the exact script and let underlord edit it into a nice video. What happened:

- “321 action” is still in a lot of scenes
- not cut at the right moment (a lottt of the times)
- didn’t get the right order of the clips, even though I send the script in text too.
- no automatic fancy and easy fade ins en outs or transitions between clips. Doesn’t think for itself.
- no automatic dynamic zoom in / zoom out
- the ChatGPT mcp works terrible. Gonna check it out with Claude too. Don’t have high hopes to be honest.

And I made 2 videos of 45 seconds and 75 seconds. Creator package : 50% of my ai credits are already gone!! Tf? Descript is advertising that you can do 180 clips of a minute a month. But I’m done in 4 minutes editing, that’s just bs.

But the whole idea and attraction (for me) was that I could edit easy, like a noob, text based and without the hassle of really editing. So going to look for another service. Just wanted to share this information for people who are considering descript.

“Anything” is exaggerated. Situation: I got RD, Torbox, Easynews, AIOstreams and debridio.

Before I used it only with RD and torrentio, could find a lot. Added debridio and aiostreams: I can find way more. Happy me.

RD got f*cked, so I get easynews and Torbox. But I can’t find shit anymore. I added them in AIOSTREAMS. When I look for something I never see “Torbox ready” or “easy news ready” like I always did with RD. I feel like I’m still only using RD and debridio.

For example, trying to find “don’t fuck with cats” or “American Nightmare” or “The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman” . Can’t find shit.

What do I have to do to make it work? Maybe a new template or what’s it called. But how and which one. Driving me crazy.
