Using HA and have got my immersion heater tied to off peak rates and the binary off peak sensor.

I thought that BottletopDave’s HA setup recently said to ignore the intelligent dispatching entity and just rely on the off peak binary sensor?
Any thoughts?

Planned Setup:
15.9 kWp array
30 x Aiko Neostar 3s+ 530w Panels
Solarport Ground Mounting Kit
Sigenergy Sigenstor 12kW 1ph Hybrid inverter
3 x Sigenergy 8.76kWh Battery (26.28kWh)
Our electricity demands:
2 EV’s around 17k miles per year so home charging: 8 MWh/year
base house loads: 8 MWh/year = 22kWh/day
therefore total future annual import: 16 MWh/year = 43kWh/day
Want to run a hot tub all year round & pool pump for a few months in the summer: 5MWh/year
Total import: 21 MWh/year = 58kWh/day
DNO have just confirmed we are ok with a 12kW inverter but export limited to 6kW.
They want £7k+ to upgrade local transformer / cabling to increase export!
Gut feeling is that this limit is ok as we‘ll be using most of what we generate, rather than exporting.
Anything I’m missing or anything I need to think about before going ahead with the install?
