Bell housing swap ability?
Need a new transmission for my 91 Montero. It uses a Aisin Werner 03-72L tranny paired with a 3 L V6. I’ve found a donor from a delica with a 2.5 L diesel.
It has the same AW 0372L but obviously mated with a different engine. Would I be able to swap the bell housing from my current tranny to the theoretical donor. I don’t know much about the specifics of transmissions so any help is welcome. Thanks!
