Hi, hope someone could help me with this debate. I’m going to japan next winter and I’ve read the weather is around 32 to 50 F°, windy and with some rain. Since I live in a very hot country I dont have any proper winter jackets, so my plan was to bring a Uniqlo Heattech as first layer, then a North Face Yumiori Fleece on top, then I wanted a third layer on top of it to protect me from the wind and a bit of rain. I’ve been deciding between several options:

- Gamma Hoody (out of stock rn in San Francisco)
- Gamma SL
- Atom Hoody
- Rab Borealis

For context I live in Mexico (no arcteryx stores there) but Im in San Francisco for the weekend, all the others are in stock but the Gamma, however a friend that lives in Texas can send it to me in case I decide for that one and order it online.

Any help/advice is appreciated, I’ve asked all AI assistants but would love to hear from people that actually live in places with that kind of weather.

Hi, I’m travelling solo from Mexico to attend the Underworld show next week, been decades trying to catch them live (been to 2 festivals where they were playing and both got cancelled) also Mall Grab is one of my favorite DJs ever so it was a no brainer for me.

How hot is inside the venue?
Best spots for audio quality?
Recommended arrival time?
