Advice/help please
I’m no mechanic, or body work guy. never had the time, just started tinkering. this was a gift from my dad, 1984 K20. Supposedly the 350 went bad, neighbor that owned a shop, had a 327ci out of a 60’s corvette laying out back. Motor and labor tossed it in for 500$. My dad picked me up in this truck for his visitation days for 8 years. My step mom taught me to drive stick in it. After that every other weekend I used it to feed and bed cows. I’d like to make this super pretty to pass to one of my kids. I’d like to fix what’s here, keep as much of its “originality” as I can. But I think I need a new door. Is the cab floor too far gone, just find a better cab. Where do I go for body parts? Looks like it has an HEI distributor? I think I can look for a number on the back of the head to figure out what motors in it for sure?
