Edited Update: Thank you everyone - a friend came with a batter jumper/booster, hooked it up to the battery in the trunk, now it’s running like normal!

Hi all, my mom died 6 weeks ago. In all the stress, I completely forgot to drive her car around every week. It’s been about 8 weeks since her car was driven. I feel so stupid, but grief isn’t logical.

I don’t have a hybrid, so I don’t know much about them. Can I just call a friend (who also does not have a hybrid) to jump it? Or am I screwed and I need to call my/her mechanic instead?
