Thinking about swapping out my LMT 12.5 Specwar barrel and getting different barrel to be chopped and converted (definitely by D.Wilson unless anyone knows of another reputable place). What barrel company did y’all go with and how’s it been performing?
I feel like I hear a ton of horror stories about some shop gunsmiths so does anyone know of shops that have reputable gunsmiths? Like you trust them as much as you trust your barber?
I’m looking to get some work done on a barrel, mostly just a polishing and fix some issues with the feed ramps.

After a couple range trips, I noticed that I’ve been getting some failure to feeds every now and then but just chalked it up to being a buffer/spring issue but after trying several different combinations (Sprinco white w/H1 & H2 and Super 42 w/ H2) I was still getting the same issue of failure to feeding.
After getting home and taking everything apart I cleaned the barrel and the feed ramps free of carbon and fouling. Thinking that solved the issue I was having, I put everything back together and tested everything to see if everything was okay.
When I went to test chambering a round, the bolt got stuck and wouldn’t feed the round properly and I noticed that this is how all my malfunctions were happening prior to cleaning the barrel.
Upon inspecting the round that was stuck, there’s noticeable marring on the round itself possibly indicating that it’s getting caught on the corners of the feed ramps.
Does anyone know a possible fix/solution?
Lost some weight and this jacket no longer fits me well. Figured I’d try here and see if anyone is interested!
Haven’t really wore this jacket out besides around town so there’s little to no wear.
