What did you accomplish in your first 100hrs?
My first 50 I hardly achieved anything… and spent most of my time watching tutorials on youtube. I started around 5+ colonies but always got stuck early on.
The first time I felt like I was actually playing the game was after 50 hrs. I understood the basic concepts and wasn’t as paranoid about avoiding every single potential threat. Playing one colony to over 200 cycles helped me learn the most.
Over 100hrs I finally feel like I am enjoying the game and am actually excited to learn to manage new areas and materials. I have enough food/oxygen, figured out basic plumbing and sustainable power. Also some basic cooling systems using cold water tanks and weezeworts. Next I need to work on clean power, electrolyzes, and aquatuner.
I already have spaced out, but I don’t plan on enabling it until I beat the base game once. At first I felt like I would never even beat the base game but I’m starting to see a dim light at the end of the tunnel!
