Another new pair of custom Converse Chuck Taylor Highs

Finally received this pair yesterday after multiple delays with UPS. The rubber feels thinner and weaker than standard retail Chucks, which is a bit of a disappointment considering the wait and the higher price. My 3 pairs of custom Chuck 70s were all higher quality than the standard retail 70s, but it seems with regular Chucks they skimp out on the materials for custom orders, or I just got a wonky pair. Still happy with them but I'll stick with the 70s for custom orders in the future.

What's a color you wish Converse would resurrect?

Hey everyone what are some colors you think Converse should absolutely bring back, or make into regular/seasonal rotations?

For me it's Rottin' Apple, Herby Green, Thyme Again, and Dark Beetroot. I still have a pair in each colorway from years ago but they have yet to bring any of them back. I'm hopeful Rottin' Apple may reappear as it was originally a seasonal offering in 2024 and 2025.

Custom Chuck 70s

I ordered these back in June and after waiting weeks for a shipping update they randomly showed up in the mail yesterday without any heads up. Stoked on how they came out and I adore the indigo denim I chose instead of canvas. It's thicker and more rigid giving them a nice structure and will have the potential to fade with wear like a pair of jeans. Absolutely worth the money.

Question about custom Converse shipping

Hey everyone I was curious if anyone else in the US has had their custom Converse order ship through Maersk on an Ocean Freight ship instead of UPS or a similar air carrier? I placed an order for custom Chuck 70s last month and after waiting weeks for an update I received a tracking number through Maersk, but I've always seen people have theirs come through UPS or FedEx for custom orders. After another four days it finally updated saying they're in Saigon. Maersk's website says it could be upwards of 45 days or longer before they even reach the US and the tracking shows USPS will be the final carrier. Should I reach out to Converse and ask what's going on? It seems odd they'd be coming by sea.
