Eat your heart out, Throwbacks

Went to Ross hoping they had a pair of slims in my size and instead found a pair of seriously old navy blue chucks. I felt like a villain cuz old chucks last foreeeever. And they only cost $25! That's exactly what I used to pay for them back in the early 2000s. Really glad the throwbacks were sold out and that I didn't get the navy chuck 70s cuz I kinda hate the way the toecap looks.

No idea how old these are, but they even smell the way they used to. Found a pretty cool Misfits tee in my size too so I'm very happy. Anyway, shoutout to the person a few weeks back who mentioned finding old converse stock at Ross!

What colour converse high tops should I get?? Help!

I'm buying my first ever pair. High tops. No black or white as I have a converse dupe (black with white laces) and white is kinda basic also it will get dirty quickly I don't wanna wash them after each use.

I am open to any other colours that would go on most outfits. I only wear jeans btw. (Black, blue, navy, white mostly)

I wanted purple but they aren't available here.

My knee high converse as an 11 year old boy who was so into beyblades I had my mom make me that red shirt to mimic the anime character. They were my only sneakers and I wore the shirt non-stop.

Final frame I have posted before, but I when found more photos of the converse and my beyblade shirt I thought they could be appreciated.

Maroons with the off-white laces

I love this color. It happens to be one of the colors of my son’s school. The other one being gold (golden yellow, not metallic gold) so I want to find some golden yellow laces to wear to my son’s baseball games.

update

back with an update from my other post about the platforms even though nobody asked for it but just wanted to share. i just got my exchange today, first of all, they sent me the wrong color but its whatever. second of all, they fit great but my heel is still flopping when i walk. honestly i’m just going to ask for a refund and return these. which is a shame because i really love these shoes. ig i’ll just stick to the high tops or buy the non platform low tops
