Is this still savable?

Is this still savable?

I've been wearing these for a year and a half now and I've researched on how to glue them with Shoe Goo but I don't know if they're fixable at this point. Anyone knows if glueing them back will do it or it's time to throw them away?

Well worn going to fix these they look great and are so soft but the side walls have become unglued so I am working on them 5.00 for shoes that a so comfortable they are worth the work

New Chucks!

Received these from Italy today! Did anyone else get these foil edition Chuck 70s? I called them the Silver Surfers, but the fam is calling them the Baked Potato or Freebase editions 😂

Purposely distressed low cut All Stars ko

I’ve had these since 2007 and they were sold by Converse as distressed on purpose long before Balenciaga and other high end brands made the distressed look popular. They are amazing.

Wheel of Chucks \\{.}{.}// Collection, May 2026

Pretty colors are pretty.

Basically one "everyday" Chuck in there, as in a classic canvas, simple color. And that one, I customized with a Pearl Jam logo. The rest have something unique beyond just a colorway, be it a pattern, a material, a collab, a "storytelling" shoe, etc.

How do we feel about the Pride 2026 Collection?

They have a whole bunch of customizable shoes too, so there’s a lot of designs available. The first three shoes are the ones that aren’t customizable. I think the second ones with the patchwork details are cute and I’m tempted to get a pair.

Help?

Anybody have an idea how I can strip this down to bare denim? I saw people saying to use rubbing alcohol, is that true? Will it help that much? (I don't use reddit so the pic is in replies)

Converse Shoe Size

I got these amazing pink shoes that run 11.5 in women and I checked the converse size chart and it says an 11.5 runs a 9.5 in men’s (I bought these shoes on depop) and I just wanna make sure I got the right size. is 11.5 in women’s for a high top platform shoe a 9.5 in men’s?

Got my first pair of Chuck 70’s & they’re amazing

After years of wearing regular Chucks in the low top, the local shoe place had these for 25% off which made them cheaper than the originals.

So glad I found a pair in my size as it’s impossible to find 14s in store and I absolutely love the colour on them too

Edit to add colour name** Twilight Blush. In person it’s like a deep purple, red, brown mix that just looks so good

2nd new pair of Converse! Chuck Taylor High Street

Love how they kept some of what makes Chucks so iconic, along with adding a padded ankle and tongue, with similar comfort to the 70’s. I can’t believe I went this long without getting new Converse and this has just rekindled why I loved them for so long

Is the tongue sliding this much normal? And how do I fix this, also this mostly happens only on the left shoe, sometimes on the right

My Chuck 70s are weirdly long

I bought a pair of Chuck 70s which were EU size 42 (US size 8.5) and they hurt my pinky toe after about half an hour of wearing, so I returned them and tried the size 43 (US size 9.5).

They don't hurt my pinky but they look really long and not what I expected. I thought that maybe I should get the wide version and size down, so it would look better and my pinky wouldn't hurt because of the wider shoe, but this makes me ask: does the wide version also make the toebox wider?

I do have large feet and maybe converse are just not for large-footed people :c

Converse warranty denied - never buying again

Like many of you, I've worn converse my entire life - also like many of you I've watched the quality decline but this may be my breaking point. The plastic garbage heel shank in my converse 70 (custom by you) broke and has cut through the heel and now cuts me when I try to wear these shoes within 3 months of owning this pair. I started the warranty process 3 weeks ago, followed up, no response until I escalated the issue via their live chat. Soon after I received an email that my claim was denied with no further explanation. Bye bye converse, it's been a fun ride but you're garbage now.
