Looking for something fun you actually get to do during drill weekends and that you can pick up orders for. Also curious how long orders are for usually, are they 3-6 months or usually 9 months to a year?

Hey everyone just curious what makes the navy reserves more desirable or a better choice than the CGR. I’m married with a child and have a full time career as a firefighter and I’m only looking at reserves, I was pretty sold on USCG until I started seeing Navy stuff pop up on social media lol any advice helps!
