Looking for Work - rent due in 3 days
Hey everyone, posting on here because I need help and figured I could get help here - I’m in desperate need of a job. Rent is due in 3 days and we are 3 hundred dollars short. My partner works, but unfortunately I lost my job about 2 weeks ago and have been applying diligently but with no luck. One paycheck doesn’t cover all of our expenses.
I am a young man so I can do all kinds of work. Physical labor is not a problem for me. I’m a quick learner, adaptable, & reliable with a clean background. I’m really willing to do any kind of work right now to make ends meet. From physical labor or even if anyone just has some housework that requires heavy lifting/physical activity (moving, yard work, etc) I can help with that. I also have a car for transportation that can get me from point a to point b. Unfortunately, my car is a 2008 beater that will fall apart if I try to do ubereats/doordash with it, so that’s out of the question as I don’t want to lose our only means of transportation.
Any help is appreciated even if you can just point me in the right direction. I went today to try and sign up for day labor but missed their deadline for signups and am going back tomorrow to signup unless I hear from someone on here, so that’s in the works. With day labor, I just wouldn’t have the funds by the time rent is due, hence why I’m reaching out here. Thank you for reading and I appreciate any help!
