Having trouble identifying this Rooster’s variety

I was trying to avoid a “what color is this” post but here we are lol. I’ve looked at a million photos and I give up trying to ID. This is one of my Roos that came from a mix batch of Pansy Fee/Pearl Fee, the closest things I found was German pansy or pansy/pearl but without the fee but I can’t tell for sure which one. Would anyone know what I could expect from the batch if I breed him with my Pansy Fees or American Pansy?

They LOVE the plants I added

I planted lemongrass, sword ferns, a deer fern, and a geranium in a pot. I had to remove the geranium after a day because they ate almost the whole thing lol, but so far after a week the rest of the plants are holding up. I should grow them in a pot first but I wanted to see if they could make it planted in some soil under the bedding. The birds love lounging under the ferns and they gather around the lemongrass too. I think I want to do some more deer ferns since it’s so bushy but I think the sword ferns were trimmed before I bought them so we’ll see

First time Raising Quail/Building anything

I learned about quail from a friend and decided to give it a try because I love birds and it sounded like a great opportunity to do something productive with myself.

I wanted to do an aviary so I could easily enter their enclosure to visit and clean standing up and give them as much natural space as possible. Now that’s it’s done and they are in there it’s clear I went way overboard this place is a palace but I love it and they are settling in nicely.

Automatic water dispenser and auto feeding stations for low maintenance, sandbox for bathing I think I’m going to expand that, a mix of pine shavings, grass clippings, and Douglas fir mulch to start my deep litter.

I’ve hatched 17 birds so far and hoping to breed mine once they are full grown to go up to about 25-30 just to have a comical amount of eggs available. I have a mix of Pearl and Pansy coturnix. Let me know if you have any pointers for raising them! I’m always reading new stuff about them and improving on what I have (building real hidey houses for them next)
