I have been working at my IT job for 3 years now. I was the youngest person in company history to get promoted to a Sr. Tech because of my strong work ethic after my first year. I have been assigned harder jobs and tasks which I complete every time with no fault on my own end where I stress about details. Even the small ones. I helped train about 1/3 of our current staff to do their duties. I always do extra work and go above and beyond. But ever since I had a talk about potential growth opportunities from within with our companies Vice-President and my bosses, things have felt weird. I have since been getting very few projects while others are getting more and more. I have noticed another individual has been getting the same opportunities that I would normally have or would be doing as outlined in this conversation by my conversation with my management. The only projects I have been getting are ones in warehouse with everyone else or projects from the one manager not attending that meeting. Am I reading too into things?
