I don't have a kid , the baby cutlery is for me ... the wooden spoons and forks you get when buying food just piss me off :)

I desperately need help sideloading apps onto my Kyocera kyf42c

i got my phone in the mail today and i am really excited about it !!

only issue is that I really need whatsapp on it , but I feel like I am truly just too stupid to understand how to get apps on the thing .

I tried to follow tutorials on YouTube , but there was always some part where I went like ???????*brain error*?????

I managed to turn on developers settings . thats it . i was told by the lady from the tutorial to download something called " minimal adb and fastboot " so i did . she then told me to download apk (?) for WhatsApp from " up to down " so i did .

she then told me to drag " whatsapp.apk " to " minimal adb and fastboot " . my laptop wouldn't let me do that .

I tried another tutorial , and the lady told me to download " aurora store " trough " webadb " . I tried , but the site kept being unable to find my phone .

I'm really sad about the fact that's it's not working . could it be that my Chromebook is the problem ? the people from the tutorials all had Windows stuff .

please be kind for I am 15 and I genuinely don't understand stuff right now ... help PLEASE
