This is kind of a shitpost but hear me out...
Everyone knows "North Chesterfield" is not really a place ... it was a name invented in 2011 so that Chesterfield residents would stop accidentally paying taxes to City of Richmond.(See this news article )
But... and here's the idea... what if residents took ownership of the "North Chesterfield" place name and talk about it as a place.
Publish maps. Make a logo.

The Richmonder is proud to welcome our newest reporter, Eleanor Shaw, who will report on government, education and human-interest stories in Chesterfield County.
Eleanor, as well as other Richmonder staff, will be on the road in Chesterfield this month meeting readers and asking what you'd like us to cover in the county. We'll have Richmonder swag on hand at each stop!
