Censorship in AC 4 Resynced

Cleavage censorship aside, in my opinion she just looks better in the original

My thoughts on Blood Rain and why i dont think its a sequel (unless...)

Hello everyone,

After yesterday's announcement i was really confused, despite being announced as a sequel, i kept thinking "it makes zero sense lore wise that this is a sequel".

First, many people took the description by Geoff and the trailer "will continue the story beyond the events of the first game..." as a meaning of = sequel. But "Beyond" in this context might mean something like "Beyond what we learned in the first game", meaning, expanding lore of that world.

If you ask me, i think they are misleading people on purpose here or accidentally for a "plot twitst" that i will explain later.

And then there is this article, which apparently was translated from Korean in the official website but some people says Koreans players pointed the translation is not accurate and can be misinterpreted, which takes me back to the "beyond" meaning.

But then, i have 1 major reason why i dont think this is a sequel. And thats what we see in the trailer.

Civizilization is just way, way too advanced and restored to be a sequel. In the first SB people were living out of literal metal scraps.

Second, people look way too normal and non-robotic compared to the NPC's we saw in the first game, plus, this looks a totally functional society.

Third, they Naytibas we see look pretty human, as if they wre the first stages of experimentation, long before Naytibas lost most of the human similarities as explained by Adam in SB1. (in one of the combat sequences in the trailer you can literally see the human face of the monster)

Taken this into account, i only see 3 options:

  • Option A: This is a prequel and we are looking at the events before Raphael Marks turned everyone into Naytibas, Evie being some kind of police who is chasing after a follower of Raphael Marks, which obviously ended being the "good guys" at the end of the game.
  • Option B: This is set 1000 years after the original, in which case is the only explanation i can find why there is a whole functional society restored like if the planet was never swiped by the colony falling onto earth turning it into a massive desert for most of its geography.

However, there is one more option that keeps me making me think "what if these bast*** are trolling us?"

  • Option C: What we saw in the trailer is a prologue in the past. A prologue were you play as Evie for X amount of time before civilization went shit and then...we return to our Eve for the rest of the gameplay.

Edit:

  • Adding option D since some people have consider it tho idont see enough evidences: This happens in the colony. Now as to how plausible is this...im not sure, we see the advanced energy cell being held by Evie at the beginning, but that doesnt mean its in the colony itself.

Now as for who is Evie and why her name is like that, i cannot now, if this is a prequel or a prologue, my guess is that mother sphere based our Eve on her because Evie was some kind of Elite police or whatever and she based Eve on her.

Also there is a possibility that is not a prologue or prequel and we get to play both like in some Devil May Cry. i wouldnt complain about that, but i dont they are "abandoning" Eve and Lily for the sequel since they know how much the fans love those characters (plus Tachy, Raven...etc)

Anyways, thanks for making it so far, im so excited for the game whether is a sequel or prequel!

Easiest Tower of Screams of my life

I knew Adelheid was broken since the moment devs showed her epipanies on the stream, but man, not even for a second i thought "i might die here"

Also, Clara support is a key here for the constant mini heals with the "dreamwoven prism" passive if by a miracle you get hit at some point

PSA: Make sure you enter with 180 Aether in sortie if you want to claim full extra rewards

Something seems to be broken with today's update. In Sortie you can no longer recharge aether by spending Tears or Crystals from the [ + ] at the top, since if you click you can only see remaining time until full recharge instead of showing the conversion screen as it was until now.

Im sure this is a bug but until then, make sure you have 180 Aether before you enter.
