Amex - Revaluation - Virgin Atlantic & Hilton

After a series of frequent devaluations, Amex has finally done some new GOOD changes.

New transfer ratios:

Hilton Honors
1 MR = 1.50 Hilton points
From 0.90 — 66.7% improvement

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
1 MR = 0.80 Virgin points
From 0.50 — 60% improvement

Many people would have transferred points already. Its a sneaky move by Amex.

What do you all think of these changes?

AmEX Devaluation - Where to transfer Points before closure

With the recent Devaluation on Plat Travel, what would be the best use of the AmEx points, I Don't prefer transferring to Marriott,

I have previous used it against VA for Europe and few towards Marriott and it was bang for the buck, got around 1.2rs per point

so other than that, where else will it be value worth transferring to, i dont have any Europe travel planned in next 2 years. is there any other Airline which is value worth? or can i reroute points from marriott to somewhere else for better value? This knowledge would be appreciated.

Cheers :)
