I think there are a lot of parallels between Aliens: Kidnapped & Alien: Earth
I just read that old comic Aliens: Kidnapped. Did the creators of Alien: Earth ever mention it at any time? And even though it doesn't have a fully grown alien the locations and a lot of the scenarios seem very similar.
The spaceship crashing into a luxury city, the private securities hunting the alien and of course the corrupt leadership with less morals than their androids.
