So I just bought a 30-pin adapter and aux to usb-c cable to be able to listen to my music. I saw advice before this works but now it’s not for me. I got “IPod” to show up but now it’s just stuck on searching. Does anybody know or have figured out how to get it to work? It seems like it wants to read it but it’s not. Not sure what to do from here anything helps!
I did some research and came to the conclusion the most common braces I see people run either bellworks (a little harder to find) or FDF. Only difference is I saw some say for fdf u need other springs but never went into detail why? What do u guys run and why and if u had to do any modifications to make it work what did u do and why? Also for bushing I’m gonna use poly bushing what hardness do it use with the brace? Should I go soft, semi soft, or just hard which is basically solid brace? Anything helps!
I’m planning on buying a second diff to weld. What gear ratio should I get? Also does it matter if it comes from an auto or what would be the best. Any info helps!
I just picked up a set of g35 wheels but there not fitting my z. The center bore is clashing with the wheel hub but I’m confused as to why when infinity and z share the same sizes. Any ideas? Maybe the previous owner did a weird aftermarket hub replacement idk I’m at a lost as to why it wouldn’t fit. I’m currently running enkies but I wanna use the g wheels to slide to not ruin the enkies for now. (I cant add the video but it’s basically the 4th picture and the hubs colliding.)
Edit: I forgot to mention I clean both the wheels and hub hoping it would have been just the calcium and rust taking up space but as u can see in the picture it’s not even close to fitting I would have to get these machined.
So I just bought 18inch g35 wheels for my z but they are not fitting. Somehow the bore is just a bit small. This weekend I’m gonna try and see if it’s calcium build up or something but if not does anyone have an idea why there aren’t fitting? (I bought them as drift beaters)
So I just started noticing this “rod knock” sound but it dosent sound like it’s an actual rod knock. My power is fine I’m not noticing any loss, checked my oil it’s good (slightly low but I top off every week) and after maybe 5 min after driving I don’t hear it almost at all. What could this be or what could it even possibly be? (Vids a little long only cause I went into my car to give it some gas to see if the sound speeds up and it did)
