Looking for decent offers! Dont have to be crazy overpays! I'd be happy about some robins, dragons (any dragon works! from og to the robux ones, just no bd variants!), bats or really just a nice offer!! :D either vals work, but i mostly decide if i do a trade by if i like the pets or not xd

Todays Topic: Adopt Me values, value pages and former value systems!

As a 2019 Player i strongly do disagree with everyone saying "back them it was leg for leg, ultra rare for ultra rare.." which is WIDELY simplified and misleading! Mind you to clarify - this is NOT a "let's all you happy values!!" post! It's more about the Number obsession that many Adopt Me players nowadays follow!

"You're under by 0.007." "Pet X is manipulated" "Pet Y is rising/dropping" "Don't hatch egg Z because it has X value"

And thinking about it.. that's sad.

Of course i get when others keep a egg untouched because it may be their most valueable Item or because they collect it!

But when did eggs stop being something you get excited about and treat it like a stockmarket?

Since when are Dream Pets no longer pets you desire to keep but instead treat like ones next goal? So many times i saw people get their dream pet, write "Omg." And then trade it the next best trade!

Adopt Me pets aren't treated as something to bond with alot of times, and mostly like a stockmarket. Often so far that players start chasing values and forget that the game has more to offer than the highest value Inventory.

And that comes from someone who was just as numbers obsessed! So bad i felt physically sick after doing trade where i had a value loss of 0.5.

What i'm trying to say is: Values don't break the game, but the fact that it became a number to compare is very VERY bad for the mental health. Values always existed... just not in numbers.

And we sure can't go back to non-numerical Values, it would break the game, people would be stressed out, others would not have a decent idea on what to offer and why.

But i think we as players should also remind ourselves from time to time than chasing numbers isn't the whole game, and worse of all might ruin your experience of the game!

But what do you guys think, would you agree? Disagree? Or maybe you have a whole different view?

My friend got me this in a trade cuz.. well i like batman! I like the house so much, but its soo familiar to me, my friend said the person who built this just finished it yesterday... so what do you guys think?

Sooo yesterday while i made a giving advice round i figured maybe i should make a post with my grind and trading methods! Personally i own some gamepasses, though i will keep this robux free while also later naming my ''Nice-to-have'' game passes! That said: This is just my personal way, and good advice comes from taking feedback or advice, so if you have anything you would maybe do different, have options for either that i haven't named or even specific things you'd like advice with comment and i'll take my time to give you my advice!!

My grinding methods:

Pets - 1) Base Game pets (cracked, royal, pet egg) usually only get made into neons and then released for crystal eggs to keep my inventory growing!
2) Gumball Machine pets (currently endangered) usually have a demanded and non demanded pet for the rarities. Its good to know which ones they are! example: The pig and the cow are both the same rarity (and yes, both have great demand) but you are most likely to find someone wish for a cow rather than a pig! (which also shows in their values!)
generally though its good to know which pet of which rarity to keep and generally to collect the legendaries.
3) be patient with the crystal eggs: they can be frustrating, and not always give you anything useful, but if you get lucky in the end you might get dangos or dragonfruit foxes, which can be traded greatly if you find the right people!

Bucks - personally my ''comfort zone'' in bucks lies at around 20k as its the place where you can buy most items in amouts of 10. That said: farming bucks is tedious. So i usually focus on certain events i use to farm my bucks: the current sean event!! If you havent read the patch notes: Every 3 hours the Spaceship malfunctions and gives double XP! for example the next double XP will be at 1 p.m. CEST time til 2 p.m., then it will come back at 5 p.m. CEST til 6 p.m. Other great oppotunities are the admin abuses (6 p.m. CEST), or 2D Tuesday with the 2D kitty!!

Eggs/Gifts/Boxes - Pleaseee dont be afraid to open them! most of the times those gift boxes or their pets dont hold strong values, at least the newer ones! Expecially Lunar based ones! if you have them left and truely dont wanna open them put them in a section in your profile, like the RGB ones or the 2D ones.. but Lunar based or the ones from newerish events usually arent worth that kinda saving! Same with eggs - most eggs dont hold that kinda value anymore unless they come from 2019.

Events - Pleaseee dont rush into getting the newest pets. adopt me heavily struggles with bot farming and many newer pets dont hold that value up for long. If you want to get one in trade wait for a drop or a reasonable trade, if you can buy one wait until you can assume what kinda demand it has or will have (unless you LOVE the pet ofc!!)

Trading: for new players and returning players alike: pleasee get a understanding of values before you try to fulfill goals. Coming from someone who uses Happy Values btw! As a returned player from 2019 - Adopt Me has become ECONOMIC, former value patterns no longer match and **SOME** players are dishonest and/or greedy willing to use you if you dont know the values/demands ect. Which.. will now lead to value pages: No value page is truely stable, and yes.. elve is the ''easiest'' to use in this case, though Elve does manipulate values its the most Popular site and the most used one next to adopt me values gg. Personally until you have reached a specific dream pet with high value you should learn to navigate both Value sites, a adaptable trader is usually a trader who gets things done! Also PATIENCE is a big key in trading. Values drop, values ride, pets are hard to trade... or easy to trade... its always a matter of timing, so dont accept trades because you want something ''gone'' or ''its hard to trade so it dosnt matter'' there is always a time and a place for it :3 Value and Demand will be your best friend until you reached a goal of comfort.

And most importantly: Dont burn out. Chasing Values, Trades and.. generally being at the top is tempting, but quickly starts nagging at your genuine joy. Please set a clear goal, and please dont let your desire ruin the comfort the game might carry. its okay if you cant get a trade right now, its okay if your inventory dosnt get your desired pet yet. If you one day drain your inventory fo that one pet you wanted then... well you have the pet, and you are just as drained as your inventory. so please... remember self-care and non pressure gameplay. Trades are a big thing in adopt me, but they arent everything either!

now a few personalized opinions and things i focus on my gameplay:
Honesty - Adopt me is filled with bots, scammers.. generally... alot. And players wont always be honest with you if they want something you have. I though like to always lead with honesty: even if i have a trade declined then, even if i miss something that wouldve given me a huge growth.. It just feels cleaner and more fullfillling if you got your goal with raw honesty first.
Kindness - There are so many kids playing that just tricked the age group settings, that said focus on kindness, a trade where both negotiate outside of values and find true happiness instead is always a win. Though said: you dont have to accept everything, just dont be rude about the declining!
Gamepasses - those are for the ones willing to spend robux: In all honesty i have various gamepasses! The ones i advice:

The moving plot one if you trade homes or grind alot. my favorite spot for grinding is the one near the pet clothes store as its really close to the pool party and camping site!

i also do think the Pet Plus one is a decent gamepass, it has quite the nice perks, and avoids you to have to go and buy VIP (as VIP has been having.. well not so useful ''perks'' unless adopt me updates it at some point)

a trade stand is also a nice thing to have in your inventory.

Some useful Buck purchases are the money tree (one is enough, you cant sell them tho!) and a hyperspeed couldron, as it makes you move faster and you keep the pots after leaving the game!!

With the newest update out i must admit that its absolutely amazing for adopt me to make more and more tasks accessable from outside of the house!!

And while it may not be a post that will attract adopts me attention and i willing to discuess this with others!: ''What do YOU think should be changed/added for the VIP Pass... that has a gurentee to stay VIP accessible only?''

To get said discussion going:

- Personally i hold no issue with the accessability of tasks outside of the player home. Though i would desire for the VIP Benefits to not focus on Task accessability in return then. For example: VIP's have the retired eggs and chow chows... but since they arent recently updated it ends up being easily accessible for non VIP's too.

- Free food with ''VIP'' but infront of it isnt exactly a benefit, as free food is ALL across the maps!

- Personally i would desire perhaps a rotating selection of out of game items (That arent Gumball pets or event locked!) like Pet clothes, gifts, maybe former treat pets, such as ladybugs, og penguins ect! Or maybe monthly benefits that differate from Pets plus - like a permament login safe streak, maybe a monthly selection streak of a desired ingame treat.. honestly anything that makes VIP feel genuinely worth it and disconnected from ''Task benefits''. even if VIP has scripted time periods of double money, xp or something!!

Though it wouldnt be a discussion if i end it here, so what do you guys think should be a change or addition? :3

Getting this crow was surely one wobbily way as it was hard to find someone accepting randoms as adds!! I think the overpay by 10 isnt too bad too, as i mostly went with happy vals in this case!! honestly, it feels kinda fullfilling having the dream pets together x3 Though i do wonder what u guys think about my end offer of the Crow? and does anyone by chance have a fly pot for like.. alot of retired eggs? xdd
