Hey so I recently switched doctors and was asking for advice for my PCOS. She’s prescribed me elfornithine 11.5% cream to help with the facial hair but she’s also prescribed me Cerelle birth control. I’ve never been on birth control before. I’m 28, 5ft 2 and 233lb (down from 320lb in September thanks to wegovy).

I’m just wondering what people’s experience on birth control is. I’ve seen people say about weight gain and mood problems and as someone who’s still actively trying to lose weight I’m apprehensive

Any kind of experiences etc helps just so I kinda get an idea what I’m in for
