6 days in Champagne, December 2026
Title pretty much says sums it up. Instead of vacationing down south we'd like to spend 9-10 days in France this coming winter. Flying from Montreal to Paris is fairly inexpensive and we've visited France 2 years ago and would have loved to spend more time in Champagne.
We're blessed with quite a nice selection of Champagne in Quebec through the SAQ and have already visited Taittinger, spent a day in Epernay and in Fleury. I'd love to optimise our stay of roughly 6 days (with rental car) and focus on hidden gems or small/medium producers. I recall our visit at Jacquinot et fils as being a highlight when we last visited.
Any suggestions on must see/taste and logistics ? Anyone visited the region in December and has thoughts on that as well?
Thanks!
