Rocky Horror hold

Currently at Rocky Horror and we’ve been on a hold for 15 minutes. Started after Frank goes off stage to kill Eddie. I’m really curious what could have prompted the hold?

Edit: Amber Gray had a minor injury and was replaced! I hope she’s okay! We were about 2 minutes from intermission, and it felt a little ridiculous to come back from the hold and get thrown right back into intermission! But they handled it well - Rachel Dratch came on to give an announcement and Luke Evans added in an improv line.

Etiquette if a dog somehow escapes from leash?

Hi all, I’m relatively new to Rover. I walk two dogs weekly that are both very friendly but are not particularly well trained, so they pull a lot, especially when they see other animals (dogs/squirrels,/etc). I had a scary moment last week when one of the dogs, at the end of a walk where she had been pulling a lot, lunged at the sight of a dog across the street. Her leash somehow came off of her harness (no clue how, it clips on and is not retractable) and she ran across the street to greet the dog.

Obviously I’m going to triple check leashes in the future so this doesn’t happen again. But she is very friendly and was not going to attack the other dog, and I was wondering how and if I should communicate that to the other walker if that ever happens again on a walk. He was very spooked and was clearly scared for his dog (completely understandable), would it have helped if I had said “friendly,” or something along those lines? It turned out completely fine, I ran after her and she let me put the leash back on and I apologized profusely. But I just felt so bad for the guy that was clearly freaked out. I have seen people yell “not friendly” for reactive dogs, so was wondering if there’s an etiquette for friendly dogs.

Thanks all.

Another "Which neighborhood should I live in post?"

Hi everyone! I'm a grad student moving to Chicago in the fall. Originally, I was not going to make this post but people seem to ask "which neighborhood should I live in?" often and you all seem SO friendly about it (so excited for that Midwestern charm). I am from Maryland but have spent the last four years in New England, and I am sort of at a loss about where I want to live.

I'm 21F and lesbian but I sometimes think I'm an old woman at heart - I don't drink or go out and most of my fun time is spent going to the theatre or bookstores. I want to live in a studio or 1B near the lake and will be commuting to New Eastside (preferably using public transportation) 5 days a week. I really don't want to spend any more than $2500 and would prefer to spend $2100 or less, although I have noticed that isn't realistic in most Loop neighborhoods if you want to live by yourself.

I visited Chicago for the first time recently and quite liked most of what I saw, including downtown as well as Lincoln Park and Andersenville. I am getting such conflicting advice about living in the Loop, but I have stalked this sub for a while and you guys seem to share great info.

Also, how important do you all find having central AC to be? I am from a warm and humid climate, but I have also had central AC for the vast majority of my life.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and tips!

Hi all, I’m a new sitter who will be moving to a new city in July. Obviously I’m unavailable in my current area after July, but I do plan to keep using the app after moving. What’s the best way to mark my calendar?

Grad student looking to make some extra money. Have experience working in food service, but I’m only in the area until July. Would love to work 2-4 days a week.
