Anyone else on Baby Step 7 finding it weird to adjust?
Wife and I started following Dave’s baby steps 20 years ago. Now we are mid 40s, everything paid for as of 3 years ago, kids college done. Cash flow is huge and money is just piling up. We take some nice trips, but after 20 years of aggressively pursuing financial independence we still struggle spending money!
There’s a twinge of guilt for spending too much money on things we enjoy. I was about to write a check for a sweet golf cart, but found myself not able to justify it, even though it doesn’t affect our bottom line at all.
I know this is a great problem to have, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
