So I got my hands on prismacolors around 2 weeks ago and had a great time following tutorials but lately I've been attempting to color independently and I'm not super happy with what I've managed to produce. I feel like there's something missing in all of them but I can't put my finger on what. Of course, the last time I did art was as a kid and after 10 years of not touching a pencil I'm very glad to have not completely fucked up, but still. I would love to hear your thoughts and advice on how to improve (I know the answer is practice but I want to know how to do it effectively).
