Reserved dining in Disneyland
It’s been over 10 years since I have been to Disneyland and I am finally making it back in September. While I was a local before this gap I am realizing I have never done an actual reservation sit down meal in Disneyland. Is there any restaurants that really stand out and are worth it for a single day trip? I’m completely down to just snack and hit up quick service all day but since I’m not sure how long it will be til I go again I’m wondering if I should splurge on a meal.
(the 10 years away I spent as a WDW local and have eaten at many of their restaurants)
editing to add I’m thinking specifically inside Disneyland and not the whole property.
Any local spots to see in San Diego?
Mini back story: I grew up in San Diego and come from a time 👵🏻 when you got your friends together and visited spots your favorite bands went to / have history with. Like heading up the coast to visit all the Anaheim spots for No Doubt, or even driving up to Laguna Beach to visit all the spots from the tv show. 🙈.
My daughter and I will be flying out there for the San Diego show and I’m looking to see if there’s any specific spots I should try to take her that are Pierce the Veil related. Nothing crazy….just along the lines of say Sombreros for Blink 182.
Anyone else getting in their feels with the last show happening in a few hours?
Like a lot of you I never thought we would get any more shows before this. Going into it I had the mind set that this probably would be my once in a lifetime final time seeing them. And now that the final show is coming up tonight I just feel bummed. The show, the experience, my social media being taken over by No Doubt content….I’m not ready for it to end. 🥺
Booking through Agoda
Has anyone used this site for booking hotel stays? I had never heard of it until this week. Looking to save anywhere I can like most of us. Going through Capital One Shopping - the Agoda site has the lowest prices compared to the usual Priceline, hotels.com, etc on a good amount of hotels. Wondering if the savings are worth using that site since it isn’t as well known (at least to me) as the other big ones.
Crowds on Oogie Boogie Days
Heading back to Disneyland for the first time in 12 years. I know at Disney World on party nights Magic Kingdom would have fairly low crowds compared to the rest of the week. Does Disneyland see the same trend at California Adventure on party nights? Trying to figure out when I should try and go mid week.
No exchanges at box office
After Ticketmaster was a bust yesterday tried at box office today and was denied. Told no exchanges. So if you are wanting better / different seats make sure to do it with Ticketmaster at least 24 hours in advance. (if the new tickets aren’t cheaper then your current ones that is)
Pedestrian Bridge from Venetian Closed
We were hoping to enter this way to avoid waiting outside but it seems they have closed it for our show. Is the only other entrance from outside if we are coming from the strip on foot?
Ticket options at venue?
Are there tickets sold / handled at the venue as well as Ticketmaster? I was hoping to exchange my tickets to get a few rows closer but am unable to through Ticketmaster since the new tickets are about $10 cheaper? I’ve upgraded tickets at venues plenty of times but wasn’t sure if it can be done here day of.
No Doubt Experience Tickets
Is there any way to get tickets day of, or walk up? I didn’t realize how limited it would be and the entire week I am there is sold out. (I’m only there weekdays 😭)
Merch variations by location
I have been seeing comments online that there are multiple locations to get the merchandise and that different things are offered for each location. Is there more locations then in the experience, and the outside trailer? And has anyone seen a comparison of what is where? I don’t go until later this month but trying to get a feel of where I need to go to grab certain pieces.
