Hello everyone! I’m back. I wanted to post and ask if anyone else feels this way:

I genuinely feel like my hobbies (fish keeping, very rarely gaming, reading, hiking, fishing, hunting, going to the gym, etc) are pointless, wastes of time. I feel this especially for the ones that don’t necessarily offer a return.

Obviously the gym does, hunting and finishing can, so can reading. But most of the others it feels pointless. Like perhaps I should be working or something of that nature.

I also feel this way about going out places, such as the mall or out to eat. I constantly feel like I could be working towards something.

Obviously I know hobbies can just be for fun. Does anyone else feel this way or have you ever felt this way? How can I combat it.

Busch apple, and a waffle.

Basically, the title. I work at Walmart (supposed to be 32-34 hours a week) but I’m cut down to 15-25. I am a full time college student, and I am moved out. I don’t make a whole lot obviously.

I take issue with the fact that they hire new people and give them more hours than me, and I’ve been here 4 years. It’s rough. I don’t make enough to do what I want to do, such as keep fish (I’ve had an aquarium and haven’t been able to set it up), can’t go on a “vacation”, can’t buy a bike (I wanna start bike riding), etc.

But then again, I make “too much” to get assistance. How? I can barely put groceries on the table. Especially with the price of gas, I commune 20 mins to work both ways, and 45 to school both ways.

And I try to eat healthy. I go to the gym so I prioritize protein and fiber etc.

It’s all just too much.

Anyway, 2 packs of tuna and 1 diet Dr Pepper.
