Help me decide where to put the Tonal!

Hi everyone, I am to be a new owner of a Tonal 2 very soon, and looking forward to it! I wanted your advice on where to place the Tonal.

My home has three bedrooms and a fourth room. The first photo is this fourth room. It has two windows in the corner (they face south and west), and also has a door to the garage. The closet in this room holds all my network gear/server computer stuff. Behind the left wall is the furnace (gas piping is on the other wall and not this wall). There are two studs in my preferred location but they are spaced too narrow so I think Tonal will decline installation there. Next to it is a good stud spacing, and there is 42 inches from center to the right wall. I'm not sure if this will be too tight or not. The right wall has standard stud spacing, the first set of studs will not give me enough room on the left side, but the second one does. Opposite the right wall is the framing for the exterior door.

I like this room because it has my exercise bicycle, too. The bike is not visible here but it is offscreen on the right. It does tend to get warm in the summer as it is blasted by the afternoon/setting sun and cold in the winter. I live a few miles from the shore so opening a window cools it down well.

The second room is a bedroom. The window faces north so it might be gloomy in the winter. I use this room for some storage, and that computer equipment in the corner is getting moved to the closet in the first picture in the future. This one has a set of studs right in the middle so installation should not be an issue. This room is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer than the other room.

What do you guys think? Thank you for any suggestions you can give!

Hey everyone, I set up this drive in Asustor NAS (4x14TB, RAID5, btrfs) and it ran through its initial "Synchronizing" procedure. This took about 2-3 days. In the middle of this procedure, the NAS started beeping and I saw there were issues with one of the drives. I SSH into the NAS to run smartctl, and got the first results. I decided to let the Synchronizing proceed, and then ran an extended SMART test afterwards, which was clean. The NAS is empty of data.

How do you think I should treat this drive? I rebooted the NAS afterwards, everything is showing green.

I ran a selective test around the problem areas and they were normal. The short offline test that failed was during the middle of synchronizing.

I purchased this drive two years ago as a refurbished, and the seller provided a 5 year warranty. The drive price is triple what I paid for back then. I think they will refund me the money instead of providing a replacement drive, then I will be stuck with only three drives remaining. So this NAS will get backed up to two DAS, which will get backed up to cloud.

I have attached SMART results below. Thanks!

I developed some pain in my foot between the third and fourth toe about six years ago. It was mild back then and it never went away. Over the years, it slowly progressed worse and worse in pain, and it impaired my walking.

I saw multiple podiatrists. One recommended NSAIDs. Another recommended orthotics. Another wanted to do an injection, which I declined at the time. An MRI showed a possible neuroma. I did read comments about cryotherapy and ablation, but I was reluctant to pursue that since it had been so many years with this pain and it had been affecting my ability to walk. I couldn't run or jump for the past few years because of that. I had to use a toe spacer at night and keep the foot uncovered when sleeping otherwise the blanket weight will cause pain. I cannot walk with normal gait on the left foot. All the conservative treatment was not effective.

I had this surgery about eight days ago by an orthopedic foot surgeon. He said he found a 4-5mm neuroma. So today is post-op day 8. I've been using mostly Tylenol and Ibuprofen. The pain was really bad the first one or two days. A few days ago, I showered and maybe I stood for too long or something, but it was very painful on the foot and now when I wake up, it is extremely sore in the morning, but it gets better with additional elevation and Ibuprofen. I was using a shower chair too. I do keep the foot elevated at night, but it seems that it's not effective enough.

I've also been icing the top of the foot every few hours. The foot right now is still wrapped up in an ace bandage. I am using a a post-op shoe to get around the house, but I still have to heel walk because standing on the foot itself puts a lot of pressure near the incision site, which causes a lot of pain. If I stand for too long, I can feel all the blood pooling in the foot and increasing the swelling and increasing the pain at that incision site.

I've seen some comments here on Reddit where people seem to be able to walk in the boot pain-free only a few days after surgery, and here I am, still impaired and barely able to walk. I'm wondering if that is normal or not. I thought I would be able to get back to light work in a little over three weeks, but it seems that this is going to take more time than expected. I'm not sure if I should have attempted one of the other less invasive measures like cryoablation or not. I was afraid because I've been dealing with this pain for so many years that any additional procedure such as injection or ablation would make the pain even worse and I would not be able to walk.

Update >>> On 4/24, POD9, with more frequent icing, it has gotten much better in terms of pain and swelling. Had my dressing change and everything looking good. It is wrapped up again and they are allowing full weight as tolerated on the foot when talking in the post-op shoe, but I think I will take it easy.
