The app is so slow because there are too many animations in it. Changing menus takes 3 seconds, checking tasks off takes up to 5 seconds. If you have a lot of change it's all adding up and comes very cumbersome.

Just add an option in the local app settings to remove animations and I'm thinking most of this would be resolved.

I'm looking for more ideas for games and drills that can manage the large team by myself without resorting to scrimmages with subs. 6v6 is too many players at this age as they can't track position and it leads to standing around. I would really like to do 2 3v3s but that's too difficult to manage by myself as inevitably one field falls apart without some supervision.

I've done lots of good group games, sharks and minnows, Mr fox, freeze tag, etc...

I've tried positing players as "free" pass islands at the corners and sidelines to encourage using the outside of the field. (Also resulted in too much standing around for my preference.)

I've tried multiple balls during 6v6 but the chaos was too much to focus on any skills.

Any ideas? It's a tough balancing act between keeping them engaged but learning skills.
