I discovered this sale by chance. I had the website open on my laptop because a while ago I was checking out the SPF that went kind of viral on this subreddit.
I was about to close the tab when I noticed a 20% off banner, so I ended up placing an order lol 😂

Picked up three SPF I’d been eyeing for a while (they were in stock), plus two vitamin C serums I wanted to try, mainly to reach the free shipping threshold.

If you were already thinking about trying anything from the brand, now might be a good time !!! Especially for vitamin C, which I prefer buying directly from the brand’s site for freshness.

Cheers 🥰

Type 2 Rosacea ?

Sorry in advance. I never post pictures of my face online, but I’m honestly freaking out and I really need some opinions.

Yesterday I spent the whole morning at the beach. It wasn’t my first time going to the beach this summer, but I definitely stayed there longer than usual. After leaving the beach, I went out to eat, so I wasn’t able to wash my face and remove my sunscreen until about 3 hours later.

My skin was completely fine before the beach (I’ll attach a photo of how it looked yesterday morning : it’s the last picture), and it still looked completely fine when I got home.

But this morning I woke up with a sudden breakout.

The strange part is that it appeared overnight. I had absolutely nothing during the day at the beach, and even when I got home that evening my skin still looked normal. Then I woke up with dozens of small red bumps, mostly on the sides of my face, especially along my jawline and near my ears. The right side (first 3 pictures) is much worse than the left.

I also developed a similar rash on my upper chest, although it’s much milder. Those bumps are red but don’t really have white heads.

A few details:

•	I use 0.05% tretinoin every night and have been using it consistently for a while and azelaic acid in the morning

•	I wore Scinic Enjoy Super Mild Sun Essence SPF on my face and reapplied it 3 times throughout the morning (I’ve used this sunscreen many times before without any issues).

•	On my body and chest I used Eucerin Oil Control Body Sunscreen (only one application).

•	I sweated a lot because it was extremely hot.

•	I kept the sunscreen on for about 3 hours after leaving the beach because we went out to eat before I could wash my face. Once I got home, I removed everything with a thorough double cleanse.

•	I didn’t wear any makeup.

Has anyone experienced something similar after a beach day? Does this look more like:

•	type 2 rosacea?

•	fungal folliculitis (Malassezia)?

•	acne triggered by heat, sweat, and sunscreen?

•	heat rush?

•	or something else?

I’d really appreciate any opinions because I’ve never had such a sudden breakout literally overnight.

Thank you so much! ❤️

Has anyone got any recommendations for affordable cleansing oils or cleansing balms that are suitable for acne-prone skin?

I’m currently using the TO Squalane Cleanser as my first cleanse, but I go through it pretty quickly because I need to use quite a lot of product to avoid mechanically irritating my skin, it’s not super slippery, even though it doesn’t clog my pores.

Micellar water isn’t enough for me because I wear a water-resistant sunscreen, and if I have to use too many cotton pads, my skin starts to burn from the friction (even though I’m using a good micellar water, the Bioderma Sensibio with the pink cap).
