Can AI Replace Human Translation in Terms of Comic Translation
I tried translating a Japanese manga into English. One is translated using Gemini Nano Banana (second image). One is manually edited (based on Deepseek's initial translation) with ImageTrans (third image).
I think in the foreseeable future, AI cannot replace human translation in terms of such complex images. It involves not only text, but also image content. We can make AI produce better results by improving the context and prompt, so that we can start our work with a good foundation.
