How much to combine half bath and adjacent room for one big bath room $$$?
Bath room is 5'6" x 4'5".... Adjacent closet is 5'6" x 4'11"
Bathroom has a vanity and toilet. Want basically tear down middle wall to connect the bath room and closet room (have a walk-in tile shower in the closet area) to make one big bathroom. It will be a custom tile shower with a seating bench as one person has vertigo, so grab bars as well. The shower doesn't have to be the whole closet area, thinking 3.5 ft or 4ft by 5ft 6 inches. Just shower curtain no glass door.
It is slab, so the the floor is going to get busted up to run a shower drain to closet room from toilet. So might as well bust up all the floor tile and redo all the flooring a well too compliment shower tile. All the walls of both rooms currently has wall paper on it, and should want to rip the wall paper off and just go back with paint. Also going to rip out current vanity and replace with something new. Toilet will be reused.
Currently the closet has two doors, one going to garage, the other opening to living room. Will want to delete both doors and sheetrock and insulate. So there will be a little painting and matching of colors, mostly on the side of the wall to the living room. The door going to garage isn't too important matching up the paint once door is deleted.
So basically a full bathroom gut and remodel from dirt up. I'm in Southeast USA. So what kind of pricing would I be expecting, assuming the tile is average and nothing fancy, same with vanity. I was thinking around $10-15,00$, prob closer to fifteen. What y'all pros be thanking? Thinks!
