My oled55cx6la had a nasty fall last week and cracked the display , luckily i have accidental damage cover which includes new for old.

They got back to me today saying they can offer me £800 or the exact same tv brand new sealed but is around 6 years old.

They said usually they would have to upgrade it to the latest equivalent but their supplier has this tv in stock brand new but i find that hard to believe and think they are bluffing to keep the payment low.

Does this seem fair? As LG and the insurance co have said the equivalent model would be the 55 OLED C6.

Stuck as what to do now , i have questioned what about the warranty as surely if its brand new it will have the manufacturer warranty.
