Hello,
I need some help regarding a strange behaviour of my MPPT that I just connected (so it was never used).
The MPPT is connected to 3 solar panels in serial (3x400W, VoC 37V). It is also connected to 2 parallel connected LiFePO4 25,6V 100Ah batteries (PowerQueen). The setting are put on "Smart Lithium (LiFePo4)" in the MPPT. The batteries are almost fully charged. The PV tension is in correct range ( ~95V).
The MPPT delivers in the beginning about 28,4V and 3A (it's 16h13 and sun is shining) but after a few minutes I observe 37V and 40V (both 0 A and about 100W solar). I checked the same voltage with a multimeter directly on the poles + - of the MPPT and on the poles of battery. It seems to cycle. Correct voltage for 15 seconds (absorption) then switch to 29, 30, 35, 40V for 5-10 seconds then back to 28,4V. The status is absorption mode.
Event if the current is 0 A, why is the voltage so high (> 35V). This seems like a wrong situation to me and putting the battery is danger.
Did someone experience the same behaviour? Any idea where this does come from? Any hints ?
Attached some screenshots made within 2 minutes.
Thanks
