As the title states, I’m out of 42mg Caplyta (until Thursday). Can I take two of the 21mg capsules I have left over from when my psych started me on the low dose?
Hi all, I’ve been lurking since I noticed my hair thinning late last year. Well I’ve started treatment and new problems have come up that I haven’t seen anyone here mention before. I saw a derm in March, who told me I had dermatitis on my scalp and she put me on a topical (Clobetasol prop 0.05%) and a shampoo (Ketoconazole 2%). That threw me off because I’ve never felt itchy, seen dandruff, anything that would lead me to think I had it. I tried to push for an explanation or any details, but she was a Spanish-speaking person and I was having a very difficult time understanding her. I asked her about checking my hormones because I have PCOS and had to go off and back on to birth control around this time and was assuming that’s what my problem was. She just said it’s possible that made it worse and put me on Spironolactone. Fast forward to now, I’ve been going through some dread shed but last week I got my hair cut at a new salon. The stylist washed by hair and she massaged my scalp HARD with her long fingernails, it was actually kind of uncomfortable. Next day. Suddenly my scalp stinks like a dog! And the hair loss increased exponentially and is continuing to do so. It’s more obvious than ever and no matter if I wash my hair every day with that shampoo it just stinks again by the end of the day. So now I’m left spinning. It feels out of control and I’m lost.
