Tried the spicy chive guo koi from the Big Book of Bread!

Tried the spicy chive guo koi from the Big Book of Bread!

Okay, I know I need to work on my technique but these were so good! The exteriors were crispy and the insides fluffy and so full of flavor. I’d had my eye on this recipe for ages and finally decided to try it. They weren’t supposed to turn out this high, but I’m going to blame the warm weather and the newly opened package of yeast on that. No matter, they were tasty. Definitely a keeper.

Awning sales and installation

Can anyone recommend a business that installs awnings for windows and decks? It looks like Pelletier has closed. Thanks for your suggestions!

Tips for cooking or baking with peanut flour

I was just given a pound of peanut flour. I'm excited to try something new but have no idea what the heck to do with it. Does anyone have any favorite recipes that use peanut flour? I'd love to hear from you if you do. Thanks!

I baked the awesomely delicious small batch chocolate cupcakes this weekend. They were so easy to make and insanely good. The frosting was like a magic trick—one moment it looked lumpy and terrible and the next moment it was creamy and delectable. I had leftover toasted ground pistachios from baking the mortadella pizza sandwiches (also from KA) and used some to decorate the tops of the cupcakes. Will absolutely bake these again!
