changing my religion for a girl

i identified as atheist for 10 years now, but my gf would love it if i convert to islam, and i honestly don't have a good reason to refuse 🙂
now i did tell her that i don't control the fact that my mind can't stop viewing religions and gods as anything other than man-made myths, but i can always impose meaning to them and adopt my own approach to being a believer, i think it's not a bad idea and she thinks the same.
anyone been in this situation before? how did it go?

are moroccans seriously expecting a top-bottom i3adat trbya?

moroccans can't stop littering, it's everywhere, and they're apparently waiting for a perfect government that will teach them how littering is bad.

most tourists who come to morocco love our country, except they complain about how pushy and entitled some moroccan sellers and random dudes on the streets are. overpricing things, charging you for things you didn't ask for.

women (and men) in many cities can't go for a night walk safely, our men think that girls who walk alone at night or dress in a certain way deserve to be harassed. and our poor people think that the rich deserve to be robbed.

most poor moroccans will give birth and bring multiple children to life, and even better, they hit their children and support child abuse in schools, as a lazy way to teach and discipline them.

most moroccan men (and women) are misogynistic, they hate to see their women freed, men are easily ragebaited by women who'd go to a football stadium and watch a game, or travel freely, or even have a job, these are facebook/souq moroccans and they are a majority.

most moroccans don't practice what they preach, hypocrite students wanted to fight a "corrupt" government and yet they didn't like electronic device detectors in exams very much. and men wouldn't marry the girl that they've slept with because apparently being sexually active before marriage is a bad thing and they're above it.

most moroccans are extreme, dogmatic, anti-life people, still debating whether music is haram in 2026, most women are forced into hijab or burka either directly by their family or fearing to be thrown in hell burning forever and similar extreme religious narratives. sometimes women aren't allowed by their parents to go to college or be independent. the moroccan state is actively combating extremism but the people aren't cooperating.

tldr, moroccans are not oppressed by corrupt leaders, but suffocated in a deeply rotten culture that needs ages to change.

one last post about a girl

i got blocked all of a sudden by someone just when we started to get attached and the reason?

we were chatting at 4 AM and i wasn't taking everything being said seriously and then the question "have you kissed before" came up (i didn't ask her, it was more like her asking me if i think she has) and i was supposed to guess the answer, to which i said something like

"idk it could be 50% 50% you're full of surprises"

and boy did she hate that answer.

it lead to a 10 minutes fight about how "we've been talking day and night and i still don't know her" and "i'm doubting her" , like a kiss is some huge crime or something i shouldn't expect her to have done, eventually she blocked me and disregarded my apology.

idk what to make of this, is it a conservative girl thing? or an all girls thing? why is it that serious?

M28 looking for a creative and smart female

i love discussing pointless philosophical topics to keep my mind busy while being an escapist procrastinating loser, also i'm gay but i hate men, it should be a girl.

as a non-muslim, do you consider yourself a koufi? and why?

a koufi is someone who's Moroccan and yet chooses to support Iran/Palestine against the interests of his own country, either for religious fantasies, or with some logic that's best explained with the picture above, or maybe something else, please share your ideas if you're one.

why the double standards, chat gpt

do you think it's necessary to bend logic this far just to sound woke and politically correct?

i personally hate this, and started using grok ai and the difference is hilarious 😭

wokeism is the worst religion I've ever seen

is it just me or are you also an atheist who's an ex-woke and started increasingly despising woke mentality later in age?

they're becoming a bunch of language police retards i can't handle them anymore i cannttt.
like they decided it's a sin to use the word "retard" to describe a retard, while not treating other similarly rude words the same way like what are we doingggg 😭😭😭😭 (edit: reminds me of religion li hrm tbyn ur hair o 7lel sex slavery)

i'm not trying to sound nihilistic or support hate in the name of freedom of speech but my point is that trying to protect someone's feelings by policing everyone's fucking language in the most rigid ways is a losing battle.

young english-speaking gen z moroccans' fake open-mindedness.

kayhdro b english really well and appear far more permissive and open minded and educated and smart ... at first glance you feel right at home. but ghi kat interacti with them closely enough kaderbk ri7t facebook, still as homophobic as ever, they live and breathe misogyny, antisemitism and bullying, have zero emotional intelligence, no critical thinking, so much negativity for free, sigh, why do y'all keep up with every latest world trend and reference and yet still can't lose the chikh-sarism?

i know kaynin awesome people to talk to but the ratio online makibchrch blkhir. idk i hope my observation isn't true.

for religious Moroccan redditors

i'm curious to know how tolerant you consider yourself when it comes to freedom of speech and discussions about religion.

you can answer on a scale from 1 to 5

1: i don't mind disagreement, that's all.

2: i don't mind people hating my ideas (eg, saying i hate eid practices, i hate how shallow prayer is)

3: i don't mind making fun of my ideas (disregarding what's considered sacred)

4: i don't mind aggressively attacking my ideas and using strong words. (sounds like trauma dumping at this point)

5: i don’t mind anything that is said or written about either my ideas or the people who adopt them. (e.g. making generalizations, fallacies, inappropriate jokes, saying people who believe in this are stupid, etc)

(you can also provide 2 answers, one for friends, and one for strangers)

skip if you don't like opinions.

it occurs to me that Moroccans take it for granted whenever our AMAZING police and intelligence do AMAZING job preventing terrorist attacks BEFORE THEY HAPPEN, making us one of the safest countries in the region. is it the case that we don't hate terrorism enough?

- the lefties in morocco have been loving y attractiw all types of hrgawa and populists, at this point they really lost the plot. tqolihom police yqolik ew, as you'd expect from hrgawa.
- the islamists.. well.. , sigh, they also be downplaying extremism saying the same shit like "msra7ya" o "tmtil" o "conspiracy".
- right wingers, what is up with our online presence? why are we letting idiots take over the internet? wash qalolikom zlayjya wsktto?? like hello??

do you condemn terrorism? (stupid i have to ask) do you feel like it's not that big of a deal? do you feel like they fake it? do you care about your country's safety as top priority?
