I am starting my first year at UofT this fall (engineering).
And I would love to get a first year internship (if it’s possible).
I was wondering how I can go about doing that (to build my resume and etc) what employers look for.
Even though I would love an engineering one it really doesn’t matter as I am also interested in business, finance, management and etc.

And I am aware of all the amazing reputations and high level academics UofT has.
However I was wondering what else is there to make the most of my time and degree.
I know UofT has many good clubs/ resources and etc I was wondering what you all think I need to take advantage of beside from academics.

My credentials is :
I went to a super public highschool with no AP/IB classes. However I still got accepted into really competitive programs (most first round).
(Uoft Eng/Comp Sci, Waterloo Eng, UBC Eng).
I didn’t have any stem extra curricular and while my grades were good I think my personal profile helped open the door.
