About 10 years ago I was a confused lib who thought the free markets was just an obviously good thing but Trump was crazy and gay people should get married but these social justice warriors are annoying and so on. Finding his work made things suddenly so much clearer, and from that base I started reading Parenti, Michael Hudson, etc

I work in an office with only wammen at a medium corp.

For some reason I’m in a “team” with a lot of customer service people but my job description is logistics/stats and workplace automation. I sometimes have to take phonecalls and answer emails but usually I’m just working on something in R or Python.

I tend to keep my mouth shut during the weekly workplace meetings as my boss is the only one who really knows what my work is (plus my boss compliments me a lot and her boss apparently really likes my work). I usually have my headphones on while working because my coworkers chewing loudly and yapping 24/7 and I need to concentrate.

I like them all as individuals, never really had a real problem with them and I think workplace beefs are gay.

During some standardized performance review my boss complimented me on my job (I had just turned in a large project ahead of schedule) but mentioned that apparently 2-3 of my coworkers had complained that I don’t show interest in their work, that I zone out too much, I always just use headphones and I’m not involved enough in their workplace discussions

Am I being autistic and need to fix this or are they being gossipy?

What are we thinking? Here are my calls

1. Mexico-South Africa: The vibes will be good. Mexico will win but it will be a bit tougher than people are thinking.

2. South Korea-Czech Republic: Hard to call. Might be a draw. Possible goal fest?

3. Canada-Bosnia: I think Bosnia will sneak a win here tbh.

4. USA-Paraguay: This one might be sneaky too. I can see 2-2 here.

5. Brazil-Morocco: Another one that is hard to call. Probably Brazil win but the Morocco boys aren't a pushover.

6. Haiti-Scotland: Easy Scotland win here.

7. Australia-Turkey: I'm sorry to say but Turkey should pummel them here.
