Peanuts at Capital One?

Long story short: haven't been to a Caps home game in years. Since the last time I went, my peanut allergy has significantly worsened (airborne anaphylactic) (so now Nats games are out of the picture).

Does Capital One Arena sell peanuts, aka do I need to be on high alert if I go this season?

IMO I feel like it's an odd snack choice for ice hockey but to each their own.

ISO APT RECS ASAP, GOOD AND BAD

Long story short, I need out of my lease ASAP. I've only been here for a bit and I am M I S E R A B L E. My physical and mental health are being negatively impacted, like actually. I've lived all throughout the hill before, which is where I am again, but I'm open to looking at other neighborhoods. Anything metro accessible really. I prefer to be on the blue/silver/orange line for an easy commute but again, open to hearing positive recs. I can only look at Zillow for so long...

NEEDS: central a/c, in-unit washer and dryer (or at the least, hook ups), 2 bedrooms minimum

WANTS: dishwasher, patio or some kind of space, off-street parking

BUDGET: $3K or less

I'd also appreciate any negative recs you want to share! Gotta keep each other in the know!!

Be honest: is Visible worth it?

I wear an Apple Watch daily to watch my HR and track my movement as well as get texts/calls when my phone's too far away, but is a Visible band worth it? I'm interested in better managing my energy and reducing crashes, so I feel like it would be a good option but I'd love to hear your honest opinions about it first.

(side note, I also wish it had interchangeable bands or something so I can dress it up more for work and events)

Help with diagnosis/ideas/doctors

I’ll try to sum this up as best I can —

I have a number of chronic illnesses and diagnoses, some by doctors and others I’ve self-diagnosed because I don’t know how doctors missed it.

Doctors: long covid, POTS (after COVID), chronic fatigue (after COVID), small fiber neuropathy (after COVID), endometriosis, asthma, eczema, Bertolotti syndrome, nTOS, esophageal spasms

Me: hypermobility (likely EDS), I think more general dysautonomia not POTS, MCAS, CCI/AAI

Since September, I’ve been dealing with these “episodes” where I can be doing next to nothing — yesterday, I was sitting in my office answering an email — and I get this feeling I can only describe as when you’re on a roller coaster and your stomach drops. Right after that, I feel very woozy and like I’m out of my body. I’ll then feel really tired and my body will physically ache and be heavy for hours after. I feel like I’ll pass out but I don’t actually, so I have a lot of pre-syncope.

The doctors said it’s my POTS, though I don’t experience symptoms when changing or in specific positions. I increased my sodium years ago, I drink plenty of water and electrolytes, I prioritize my sleep, I’ve worn compression, I try to gently move my body every day, etc.

No doctor can figure out, or no doctor has tried to figure out, what these “episodes” are. Does this sound familiar to anyone?! I’m desperate.

NOTE: while writing this, I had an “episode.” I was sitting on my couch, I had eaten a balanced meal approximately two hours prior, and I had the stomach drop feeling, the room felt darker, and now I’ve been laying on the floor with a heaviness in my body.
