Left the dock at 7AM, blasted 73 miles offshore, caught limits (14) up to 80lbs (pictured), and made it back to the dock by 7PM. San Diego special for the win.
Caught the 80-pounder on a fly-lined sardine with 40# braid backing and a 30# mono topshot. Took about an hour and was convinced it was going to break off the entire time until it hit the deck.
