lsr@eIi Prime Minister Benj@min Net@nyahu met with representatives from several regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, during his visit to the UAE, sources familiar with the details told Yedioth Ahronoth.

Representatives from Morocco, Libya, Jordan and Qatar also reportedly attended the meeting, which Mossad chief Roman Goffman arranged following a Saudi request for Israeli assistance against Yemeni operations in the Red Sea region.

UAE President Mohammad bin Zayed reportedly agreed to host the talks.

A military source to Yemen’s Saba News Agency has "categorically denied any threat from Yemen targeting the holy city of Mecca or other Islamic holy sites," strongly condemning Saudi Arabia’s "fabrication, deception, and misinformation."

The source said allegations that Yemen poses a threat to Mecca are "fake news aimed at "tarnishing Yemen’s image and generating sympathy across the Muslim world."

The military source further described the alleged Saudi campaign as an "old tactic" previously used by Saudi Arabia.
