New to cognac, gotta ask

I started with Martell VS and really enjoyed it. I've had Courvoisier VS, St Remy XO (which I know is only brandy, not cognac), and Haut de Vigne plus an Armagnac or two and while I haven't hit the XO level, I have to say I really enjoy the VSOP level, especially the (what I would guess is a low ranking) Planat.

Is there some wonderful magic when it hits XO that invalidates all of this?

I just posted this and figured maybe this can brighten someone's day and we can commiserate.

During an interview some months ago I got ghosted for, one round sticks out to me. I feel the manager was trying to trip me up, and I was warned by the recruiter a lot of candidates felt "upset" after interviewing with this manager, whom she had staffed for before over the years.

Here's the strangest thing I've ever been asked: "if I went back over the last 10 years and talked to your old coworkers, what would they tell me they hate about you?"

I was floored by that and I remember asking "I'm sorry did you ask what they hate about me?"

What are your insane interview questions?
