Experienced guitarist looking for bluegrass recommendations

Hey guys, I’m an experienced guitarist/vocalist of 15+ years. I’ve studied jazz guitar at college, I’ve played a few hundred shows, grew up on everything from Metallica to Dave Matthews, and I’m looking to dive into bluegrass. I wanna tear it up and feel the holy spirit in my fingertips. What are some of the most popular songs with some difficulty to them that I should tackle? Who’s playing should I be studying? Are there any links to resources out there that any of yall recommend?
Thank you!

Wanted to flex our Myrtle Beach finds from the past 2 days.

Myrtle Beach is a gold mine right now. Found a ton of fossils too. As I understand they pumped in a bunch of material from way out deep recently to combat erosion. Found one guy who showed me a whole handful of teeth as big as this, he said he hadn’t slept in 2 days and has just been walking a small patch outside of his hotel. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Need advice on recreating a synth bass sound on Logic Pro

Hey guys, I wanted to see if there was anyone out there who could help me recreate the synth bass sound from the song Moves Like Jagger, but using Logic Pro’s Alchemy or Retro Synth.

The sound is this offbeat, swelling, growling type of synth. I’m aware that it was probably played on the offbeat rather than using something like an arpeggiator or a trem effect. I’m also aware that it uses sidechain compression to get that ducking and swelling effect. I’m really just talking about the sound itself.

If anyone has any advice, I’d really appreciate it. Here’s a link to the song and a link to the stems so you can hear the bass on its own.

Just discovered the Gateway plugin and Neural Amp Modeling and I want to cry

If you don’t know what I’m talking about and you record guitar and bass, drop what you’re doing RIGHT NOW and look up Neural Amp Modeling

Where do I start… uh… it’s free??? It’s open source??? The Gateway plugin and all of these amp models on Tone3000 take up less memory space than the McDonalds app on my phone???

I just downloaded like $100,000 of pretty damn accurate amp, amp head, pedal, cabinet, and celebrity tone models in under an hour all completely free and in total I think the models are around 10mb of data…

I cleared a bass guitar track that I probably spent an hour or two this past week dialing in with EQs and compressors and saturators and all that, and I just slapped on the gateway plugin and loaded up a model of some random dudes bass rig AND IT SOUNDS BETTER!!

James Hetfield rig model, yep! Sure sounds like James!

Amp models of things so far out of my price range that I barely even knew they existed AND THEY SOUND GREAT!!!

Did digital officially just win?? Why does this feel illegal???

Can someone please nerd out with me about this for a sec!?!?
