This sucks because i feel like treating it and not having sex it shouldnt come back yet i cant get rid of it

I’ve had chronic bv post ureaplasma for over two years. Most recent treatment i thought would be the one: clindamycin then metro twice a week with probiotics. I got about three months of relief before things started creeping back. Two gyno visits in the last two months, one where i was equivocal for bv, the next positive even though my symptoms were mild. She said lets do clindamycin again since at least that worked, i dont want to. I kept on the probiotic suppositories and added lactomedi gels. Thougjt i was seeing improvement but after my latest period its all back in force i feel awful. This sucks im so tired of this, i dont have a partner and feel totally broken 😭

Going to doc later today for another swab in ongoing chronic recurrent BV saga. I am wondering if all along i have also had AV? I had group b strep detected on an evvy about a year ago, is that enough to qualify as AV? Do many doctors offer av tests?? Ty
