N53 valve cover gasket

Hello everyone, I’m replacing the valve cover gasket on my N53B25, but when I put the valve cover back in place, it looks like this both before and after tightening the bolts (see photos). I can’t get it to sit properly. Has anyone experienced this before or knows what could be causing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

N53B25 Valve Cover Gasket Torque Specifications

Hello, I have a BMW 523i E60 with the N53B25 engine, and I’m going to replace the valve cover gasket. However, I can’t find the torque specifications anywhere. Is there a reliable place where I can find them? This is very important for me.
