Hello!! So I'm planning to sell dupes and unwanted cards from my chinese terastal gathering pulls, and I've watched several videos and asked tips before about pricing per language and cn is third right after japanese.
HOWEVER, as I was checking the collectr prices of my cards, I'm soo confused why some of these are a ton more expensive than jp and even english.
Example:
- Uncommon Umbreon (CN) costs P387, but its JP version is only P170. The EN version is waaaay lower which is at P30. This doesn't follow the info of en > jp > cn when it comes to prices.
- The above example is just one case, but similar comparisons can be made with slowking, suicune, etc. (And some of them don't have a JP version, only EN and CN).
I'm just worried I might accidentally give the wrong prices once I sell the unwanted cards and dupes. As much as I know that collectr prices are the go-to for the majority, some people won't agree with their prices :((

Basically what the title says. I do know it's one of the main currencies but I'm not exactly sure where to use them (and my other items for that matter) since I just started playing yesterday, and am only on my 36th order 🥹

Basically what the title says. I'm planning to rearrange my binder since I've started putting more effort into planning my pages these days and I'm scared that it might cause the cards to bend (I'm having difficulty taking them out of the binder tbh lol)
The page mainly revolves around N's Reshiram, and would love cards that match its color or vibes. Other cards don't necessarily need to be gen 5 mons, it just so happened that the top three matches the color palette!

So i bought holo heart sleeves for a cheap price, and the listing description said it's pvc-free. I was worried that the store was lying about the material because it smelled veryyy rubbery when it arrived (like I did a tiny sniff and felt like I inhaled chemicals bcs of the smell lol)
Did the acetone test (dipped it in acetone for around 2 hours by now), and there isn't any visible changes to the sleeve at all. However it seems like the sleeve did absorb it instead of reacting to it.
Does anyone know if this is still considered as pvc-free? It's just that the material is not pp or what? 😭 I'm just worried bcs after using the sleeves overnight before I did the acetone test, the smell has somehow slightly transferred to my cards and I'm worried that it might cause damage.
Basically what the description says — how would you compute the prices for chinese and korean cards? Was planning to sell duplicates from my chinese sets to a few friends but upon checking collectr, the chinese sets are not yet up to date and there are no korean sets at all.
So i came across several bidding posts in fb today. i'm just hella confused why some packs or cards or gift sets are up for bidding? and worse, why are there people still bidding even if it has already surpassed way beyond market price? are they not simply just being somehow scammed? 😅😅 please enlighten me!
Hello! So I play tears of themis once a year only (during anniversaries) and I do have all of Marius' anniv cards, but when I looked at the card inventory I realized I may have been missing way too many good cards and now fomo is hitting me hard 😭 I quit actively playing after the 2nd anniversary, which is such a shame because I was very busy with college during that period.
May I ask how often reruns happen and if ALL SSR/SSS get their reruns (except for the top-up cards of course)? Also there's a bunch of good MR cards I missed out and I haven't really encountered any MR reruns that don't require using s-chips 💔
I've been wondering for years what my chart means. I'm not one to really care about it, but today two of my friends had a massive reaction with my chart (particularly with my Sun, Moon, Rising, and Venus).
I'm assuming it's good stuff though since they said they'd entrust me with everything in case things go wrong for them? Ahaha though would appreciate some insight, might motivate me in case this one is actually good!

Haven't started collecting since I'm still researching and working on a /wishlist/ and a bunch of other planning — so now I'm curious how to know how much ETBs are sold for? Because I haven't seen standard pricing in collectr when I was idly scrolling through the app ^^;
And also! Would like to ask if there are specific active marketplace/selling groups on FB where I can find cards because just the "Marketplace" category/page of fb is making me overwhelmed since I don't use facebook that much haha
Hello! I'm new to collecting and haven't bought anything yet, but I've browsed through the collectr app to see if there are cards that will interest me.
I plan to collect eeveelution cards along with a bunch of other select cute Pokémon (mostly the pink ones), and I've seen people recommend Prismatic Evolutions for Eeveelution collectors. And truth be told, even though I've been doing a fair amount of searching yesterday, there are still some things that confuse me.
1. Do old packs still come back in the market? I was looking through shopee yesterday bcs there are no card shows near us and there wasn't a single Prismatic Evo pack in there. AND if there was, it's hella expensive even for a single booster.
2. What terminologies should I be aware of? I encountered terms like slab, bulk, class A, singles, etc. But I don't really understand what they are 😅
3. Why is it more suggested to beginners to buy singles (assuming they're referring to boosters and not a single card) and not a whole boxed set?
