UPDATE: Hooked up with a girl not close to me and I might be the dad

I’m sure some of you remember this, did not expect it to blow up as much as it did. 140k views, 1000+ comments.

So here’s the update. Someone said “imagine the kid grows up and wonders why they weren’t good enough”. Well that hit deep. I don’t want my kid to grow up thinking that.

So currently I am now excited to be a boy dad. It’s gonna be a little difficult sure but we’ll make it work. I’m sure the memories that come will definitely make it all worth it. Thank you for talking some sense into me.

Going to be a dad, don’t think I’ll have split/joint custody

E-4 mafia. Never married and don’t plan on it with her. She lives in a different state and plans on keeping it. And I don’t think she wants me to have split/joint custody (which I’m fine with, I don’t really want the kid, it’s messed up to say, I know, I’ll prob regret it later)

I will probably (most definitely) be taken to court for child support, which I am absolutely fine paying. It’s the least I can do.

What questions should I be asking legal for my appointment in a few days?

Court will be in NC, anyone have any experience with that already? And how much should I be expecting to pay? Will I get the BAH-DIFF if I’m not getting split/joint custody?

It’s a weird situation, and I’m dumb, I already know that haha

Hooked up with a girl not close to me and I might be the dad

Long story short, hooked up with a girl 4 hours away from me, it was stupid, so I don’t need anyone telling me that. We had a plan b but apparently she was already ovulating so that didn’t matter (we found out afterwards what plan b actually does). We talked about abortion for the longest, then she had the ultrasound and now wants to keep it. Even though it makes no sense with our situation. I don’t want it. Don’t see a future with her. She already has 2 kids with an ex baby daddy that she’s fighting legal issues with.

I grew up having to go back and forth between split parents, I hated it and don’t want that for the kid but she’s dead set on it.

If I’m not gonna be a good dad, do I just stay completely out of the picture, minus child support?

Again, yes, I know it was dumb.

(AF) I used to smoke before I joined, while joining recruiter told me to never say anything about it, and deny whenever I’m asked. Been in 4 years, but haven’t smoked since 2021. Had an interview and came clean about it because I’d rather they hear it from me than someone else. Do you think I’ll face any repercussions for coming clean about it?
